SA Statistics has announced the recession is officially over, but consumer confidence has been dented and sale levels are expected to prolong the effects of the recession. However, all businesses are dependent on sales and good turnover and the sooner buyer confidence returns, the better for all. Christmas and the looming World Cup will make South Africa an exception to the world trend as evident by the brisk trade which has already started.
